Privacy notice for teacher applicants.
What we collect when you apply to teach, why we need it, who can see it and how long we keep it.
Who we are
UDBHO Private Limited ("UDBHO", "we") decides how the details in your application are used. This notice covers the teacher application and verification forms on this website.
What we collect
When you apply: your name, phone number, email address, date of birth, gender if you choose to share it, area and pincode, resume, qualifications, certificates you choose to upload, teaching experience, subjects, classes, boards and languages, how and where you teach, your availability, your introduction and any links you add.
If you are shortlisted: one ID proof, your police verification status and certificate if you have one, an emergency contact, and a profile photo.
What we never ask for: your full Aadhaar number, bank details, passwords or any payment. For Aadhaar we accept only the masked version, which shows just the last four digits. If a teacher is engaged, payout details are collected later through a separate secure process.
Why we use it
- To review your application and decide whether to take it forward.
- To match you with learners by subject, class, language, area and availability.
- To verify your identity and background before you meet any family, because the safety of children comes first.
- To contact you about your application.
- If you give permission, to show your photo and first name to families on your teacher profile.
We use your details only for these purposes. We do not sell them, and we do not use them for advertising.
Who can see it
Only members of the UDBHO team who review applications. Access is limited to named people, each signing in with a one-time code. Documents open only through links that expire within minutes.
We use established service providers to run the website, store files and send email. They process your details only on our instructions and may do so on servers outside India, with security measures in place.
How long we keep it
- If your application is not taken forward, we delete your documents and personal details 90 days after that decision.
- If you teach with UDBHO, we keep your documents while you teach with us and delete them within 90 days after you leave.
- We keep a short record of the reference number, status and dates so our process can be audited. It contains no personal details.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, or delete them. You can withdraw your consent at any time. If you do, we stop using your details and delete them, unless the law requires us to keep something. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer consider your application.
To make a request or raise a concern, message UDBHO on WhatsApp at +91 94940 13419 with your application reference. We reply within 7 working days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Keeping it safe
Your files are stored in private storage that is never publicly reachable. Every connection to this website is encrypted, and each file is checked for type and size before it is saved.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle applicants' details, we will update this page and the date at the top.
